Grey Signature Crossbody Bag

Bought out of a small private estate sale in Osaka — one of those Sunday clear-outs where someone's mother is finally letting go of a wardrobe she curated for thirty years. A Coach signature flap crossbody in a smoke-grey jacquard, trimmed and strapped in black leather with brushed silver hardware.

The canvas is even and clean across the body, with the slightest softening at the corners where the trim wraps. The strap is supple and adjustable, and the buckle closure works smoothly. The interior is in honest, lightly-used condition.

The signature print in this colder, almost-monochrome grey is the version that quietly does what the louder Coach prints can't — it disappears into the rest of an outfit. A working everyday crossbody from the period the house was at its most discreet.
