Pink Pillow Tote Bag

We came across this one at a small consignment shop in Vieux Lyon, in the cobbled lanes near Saint-Jean — the kind of place where the same girl curates the rack and remembers what she sold you last season. A Coach Ashley pillow-tote in a dusty, slightly mauve rose.

The leather is soft to the point of slouch, with the tonal Coach script stitched in front and the hanging Coach plaque on the side. There is the lightest scuffing at the four corners — exactly what the seller flagged — and the lining is faintly broken in but clean. A bag that reads as gently lived-in, not worn.

The Ashley is the under-the-radar Coach silhouette — slouchier than the Madison, softer than the Sabrina, with that mid-2000s sense of weightless luxury. In this rose, it's a wardrobe bag for someone who already owns the black and the cream.
