Found in a small dealer's back room off Kyoto's Gion side-streets — wrapped in a furoshiki, propped against a stack of vintage Margiela boxes. Mid-2000s Coach in a roomy moto-leather silhouette, the kind that swallows a laptop and a paperback without ever looking like a workbag.

The leather is jet-black, soft and lived-in, with the slow shine that pebbled Coach calf takes on after a few seasons. The silver five-piece hardware is intact, the front zip pocket runs cleanly, and the interior is unmarked. There is a faint warm cast on a corner of the lining — barely there in person, honest in photos.
