Grey Pleated Tote Bag

Picked up through a back-street dealer near Paris's Saint-Germain-des-Prés — full leather, pleated front, the large carry-everything Coach silhouette in a beautifully washed-out mist grey. The kind of bag you don't realise you've been looking for until you put it on your shoulder.

There's the smallest browning on the four base corners, honestly noted by the previous owner — nothing structural, just the leather acknowledging it's been carried a few times. Body of the leather is supple and untouched, lining bright, zip silent. Hardware untarnished.

This silhouette — big, slouching, pleated through the front — is having the kind of return that a lot of mid-2000s Coach is having right now. Worth sizing up. There's a reason the fashion girls in Tokyo started carrying these again first.
