Found in the back room of a vintage dealer in Tokyo's Shimokitazawa — the kind of shop with a ladder, three boxes labelled 'maybe', and a man who knows exactly which box yours is in. A Coach Bleecker pea-pod shoulder mini, in the chambray-and-cream colourway that everyone hunts and almost no one finds.

The signature jacquard reads as washed denim against the bone-white leather trim and whip-stitched handle. The oversized brass buckle is the centrepiece — the silhouette would be nothing without it. There are no rubs to the canvas, the trim has only the lightest creasing where the flap folds, and the brass has aged into a soft, warm patina.
