Pink Op-Art Shoulder Bag

From the East London archive racks — one of the dealers there had set this aside for a regular and the deal fell through. Coach Madison Maggie op-art, the round pumpkin silhouette that has quietly become the It-shape of the year again.

The base is a soft pinkish-blush, almost a pale champagne with a rose tint depending on how the light moves. Trim and handles are ivory patent leather, gold nameplate hardware. There's a faint yellowing at the base of the trim and a couple of tiny darker spots inside the lining — visible in the photos, nothing that reads from the outside.

Three internal compartments, soft body, structured handles. The kind of bag that holds a real day's worth of things while still looking like an evening object. This colorway is the one that always sells first.
